The first sale done was by Gerhard, to a company Jacage still does regular business with today.
He completed the quotation in Excell, with the companies letterhead, contact numbers etc., like one needs to do. But the sale was not as easy…
He went to the prospected customed, and could not get a word out. So the owner looked at him, saw that he was a bit destressed, and took the paper out of his hands and said. “let me see what you have there..” The owner then said, deliver 5 boxes on Monday. That was the start as we remember it.
We understood that selling to companies that existed long before we did, required little league players to act and perform even better than what the clients are currently used to, so we developed our telephone skills to suit the more aged person.
We became business partners with our clients, understanding each requirement in their business in order to solve it with Quality products that’s cost effective and ready when they need it.
We were coached for 3 Years with Action Coach Business Coaching, and we where nominated in 2017 for The Best Overall Company in South Africa at the Business Excellence Forum. This was a great journey and a great experience for our whole team!
